This is the case, for example, with a system designed to contribute to space heating in the winter and which is consequently oversized in the summer.
\nAn effective solution is possible when there is an outdoor pool, into which the excess heat can be diverted, thereby also providing pleasant heating for the pool.

In forced-circulation panels as well, a glycol-water mixture circulates, transporting solar heat from the panels to a storage tank, which may contain domestic hot water or \u201ctechnical\u201d water (i.e., water from the heating circuit).
