The hot water you need every day for your production, heated by the sun. Pleion solar thermal systems for dairies, livestock farms, and meat processing facilities, connected to the boiler you already have.

Washing and sanitizing aren't optional. The cost of gas is.
Non-compressible.
Cleaning and sanitizing are required by hygiene regulations. You can't cut back on hot water use; you can only pay less for it.
Volatile.
A rise in gas prices doesn't just reduce the margin. It changes the cost of a product sold at prices set months earlier.
Required by the supply chain.
Large-scale retailers, cooperatives, and exporters are increasingly demanding documented sustainability—not just claims of it.

The sun is warm. The boiler finishes its work.
The water comes in cold and is warmed by the sun.
Before reaching the boiler, it passes through the solar storage tank instead of going directly to the burner.
The collectors preheat it.
Pleion vacuum collectors operate every sunny day, even in the shoulder seasons, and heat the water before the boiler turns on.
The boiler heats only the difference.
It heats the water to the temperature you need while using less gas. No downtime and no changes to the process. If there's no sun, you work just as you do today.

What the producers are asking of us.
That's not necessary. The installation is done on the roof, and the solar system is connected to the preheating circuit, with the boiler remaining in service. The connection is scheduled during a downtime period.
The solar system is integrated into the existing system via the storage tank.
Solar power covers the initial portion of the heating, while the boiler ensures the final temperature. Every degree provided by the sun is gas you don't have to pay for.

Solar energy is most cost-effective when energy consumption remains constant throughout the year, as is the case in dairies, livestock farms, and meat-processing plants. If your peak consumption occurs in the fall and winter, an analysis of your energy usage will tell you this before any estimate is provided.
The sizing process begins with the monthly gas consumption profile.
We’ll need your utility bills and some information about your electricity usage. A Pleion network technician in your area will then conduct a site inspection and determine the appropriate system size.
A single point of contact from the site inspection through to the plant's startup.
A solar power system generates renewable energy on-site, which can be measured and documented for customers, cooperatives, and foreign markets. And we'll help you figure out which incentives you're eligible for.
Energy generated and gas avoided are calculated based on the plant's data.

- Liters of hot water per day—if you don't know the amount, we'll estimate it for you
