Climate control of rooms using radiant panels and dehumidification

Radiant heating systems provide heat in the winter and cool in the summer through floor, wall, or ceiling surfaces, without any visible heating elements. Heat is distributed evenly, operating temperatures are low, and the system operates efficiently with heat pumps and solar thermal systems.

Floor, wall, or ceiling: three surfaces, one approach

Pleion radiant panels can be installed on the floor, wall, or ceiling, depending on the type of building and project. Floor-mounted panels are the classic choice for new construction and major renovations, while ceiling- and wall-mounted panels are ideal for situations where the concrete slab cannot be altered or where rapid cooling performance is required. The product line includes piping, manifolds, distribution units, and temperature control systems.

Radiant Cooling and Dehumidification

In the summer, the same radiant panels operate in cooling mode, circulating water at a moderate temperature. To manage humidity and ensure comfort without condensation, the system is complemented by Pleion dehumidification and ventilation systems, sized for each individual room.

Freedom to Design Spaces

No radiators, no wall-mounted units: surfaces remain uncluttered, and the architecture doesn’t have to be adapted to the heating system. This is a tangible advantage in high-end renovations, open-concept spaces, and rooms with large windows.

Integration with Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Systems

The low operating temperatures make the radiant panel the ideal terminal for forced-circulation solar thermal systems and for photovoltaic-powered heat pumps, with PleiHome managing the coordination of these energy sources.
